A BALUCHURI HANDLOOM COTTON SAREE IS A TRADITIONAL WEAVE KNOWN FOR ITS STORYTELLING THROUGH MOTIFS. IT ORIGINATED IN WEST BENGAL, ESPECIALLY AROUND MURSHIDABAD, WHERE SKILLED ARTISANS WEAVE INTRICATE DESIGNS DIRECTLY INTO THE FABRIC RATHER THAN PRINTING THEM. THE PALLU AND BORDERS OF THESE SAREES OFTEN FEATURE MYTHOLOGICAL SCENES, ROYAL COURTS, AND CULTURAL STORIES. THE DESIGNS ARE WOVEN USING EXTRA THREADS, GIVING THEM A RICH AND DISTINCT LOOK.
Care: Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Dry in shade. Iron on medium heat. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, sharp pins, thread pulling, and rough handling. Store in a cool, dry place.
Disclaimer: Slight irregularities in weave, texture, and colour are inherent to authentic handloom products and reflect the beauty of handcrafted artistry. Actual colours may vary slightly due to photography and screen settings.
