Saree Shaastra

At SareeShaastra, each Bagru saree is a celebration of traditional craftsmanship, hand block printed and dyed using colours from natural sources such as indigo, madder root, pomegranate peel, henna, and iron (developed using jaggery).

Subtle variations in shade and motif are part of its handmade beauty, making every piece truly one of a kind. A slight colour bleed during the initial washes is completely natural with such dyes and does not affect the quality or lasting beauty of the saree.

We recommend dry cleaning for the first wash, followed by gentle hand washing separately.
